about
The Holy Spirit gives us the strength to witness, to serve, to move, but ultimately: He gives the means by which we flee our own personal Sodoms and Gomorrahs. I fell in love with the cello while recording this song and found that hitting rewind and trying again made up for my lack of ability. This is also my first 'song' song where I employed more of a looping ethic to the recording process. I'm excited to share this and excited to make more like it. Thank you for listening. May you be blessed.
lyrics
Come oh Holy Spirit come come come
Make my feet like wind my face like flint
Temper me in fires I would not choose
Conquer my desires for they must lose
Come oh Holy Spirit come come come
Make my feet like wind my face like flint
Do not recommend, reduce and rule
I deserve the recompense of fools
You have come to fill and you've come to kill me off
I do not deserve and this skin won't serve me well enough
Come oh Holy Spirit come come come
Make my feet like wind my face like flint
Give my eyes horizons they can’t see
Give my feet the bravery to flee
